A thirty-second prayer before a meeting
Some meetings start with your head already full. A thirty-second sentence changes the pace.
“Lord, give me clarity to say what needs to be said and silence to hear the rest.”
Say it once, slowly, before opening the door or joining the call.
If the meeting will be hard
“Lord, give me patience to hear what I do not want to hear and courage to say what needs to be said.”
Say this one if the subject is a confrontation or feedback.
In Bibliou
Type “meeting prayer” and you receive the first. Type “hard” and you receive the second. You can ask for another one if you like. People who say the sentence beforehand tend to leave with less weight than they came in with.
