These terms govern the use of Bibliou, a Bible content service delivered on WhatsApp through a US$2 per month subscription. By subscribing or using the service, you agree to what is described here.
1. What Bibliou is
Bibliou sends Bible reflections, prayers, reminders and reading plans on WhatsApp, on the number you already use. There is no app to install: every interaction happens by message, inside your chat.
2. Subscription and price
- The subscription costs US$2 per month, charged on a recurring basis to the card informed at checkout.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. Bibliou does not receive or store your card details.
- Renewal is automatic and you can cancel whenever you want, with no penalty and no minimum term.
- Price changes are announced on WhatsApp at least 30 days in advance.
3. How the service works
- Contact happens through the official Bibliou WhatsApp number listed on the site.
- Messages are sent by automation, with human review when needed. Delivery times are the ones you set.
- The service depends on WhatsApp and Meta. Outages on those platforms may affect delivery without constituting a breach of these terms.
4. Cancellation and refunds
- To cancel, just ask on WhatsApp. Access continues until the end of the period already paid and no further charge is made.
- Cancellation within 7 days of the first purchase entitles you to a full refund, under art. 49 of the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code.
- Refund requests are answered within 5 business days and, when approved, the refund is issued by Stripe to the same payment method.
5. Acceptable use
- The subscription is personal. Reselling, sharing or redistributing the content received is not allowed.
- Using the channel for spam, abuse, hate speech or any illegal purpose is not allowed.
- The service is intended for people aged 18 or over. Minors may use it with the authorisation and supervision of a guardian.
6. Content and intellectual property
- The texts, prayers, reading plans and PDFs sent are owned by Bibliou or licensed for use in the service.
- You may use the content for personal devotion. Republishing, distributing or commercial use requires written permission.
- Bible quotations follow the translations stated in each message.
7. Nature of the content
Bibliou provides religious and devotional content. It does not replace medical, psychological, legal or financial advice. Decisions made from the content are the subscriber's responsibility.
8. Availability
Bibliou aims to keep the service available every day but does not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Scheduled maintenance is announced in advance on WhatsApp.
9. Limitation of liability
- Bibliou is liable for proven direct damages, within the limits of the law. It is not liable for lost profits, indirect damages or failures of third parties such as Meta, WhatsApp and Stripe.
- Nothing in these terms removes the rights granted by the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code.
10. Changes to these terms
- Relevant changes are announced on WhatsApp at least 30 days in advance.
- If you disagree with the new version, you may cancel before it takes effect, at no cost.
- The update date at the top of this page shows the latest version.
11. Governing law and venue
These terms follow Brazilian law, including the Consumer Protection Code and the General Data Protection Law (Law 13.709/2018). The courts of the subscriber's domicile are elected to settle any disputes.
